Black Legal Issues ("BLI") was created to fill the void often left by the media that fails to focus on legal issues that impact the Black Communities. BLI will report on the legal and racial injustices occurring daily in black communities. If you are aware of a story of legal significance that is not being reported and/or covered by the local, state and national media, you may send in an article and/or a video, if available, that will allow BLI to broadcast the story via BLI's interactive video broadcast.

BLI will also provide its users with daily updates on legal issues in sports, entertainment and politics.

By highlighting stories that impact the Black Community, it's BLI's goal to place a national spotlight on daily injustices that are not given the needed attention. By doing so, BLI hopes to create a public outcry for CHANGE.

Injustices like the Jena 6 incident and Genarlow Wilson’s wrongful incarceration went undetected for so long because of the lack of media coverage. BLI will make sure that incidents like those are reported timely.
